Workshop on Communication and Lobby for Bolivian FEPC

DECP signed a Partnership Agreement with the Federación de Entidades Empresariales Privadas de Cochabamba (FEPC) on the 3rd of February 2010. DECP will provide FEPC with professional expertise and guidance concerning the advocacy of employers' interests, the provision of services to member-organisations and the
strengthening of FEPC’s organizational structures.

DECP's and FEPC's cooperation will include amongst others the following areas: strategic planning, provision of services to members, advocacy of employers' interests in general and member interests in particular, internal and external communication and good governance. The cooperation in these areas will consist of setting up training courses, organizing workshops, organizing conferences, action planning, implementation and review of plans, the actual construction of communications tools and more.

The signing of the PA was combined with a workshop on communication and lobby for the members (associations of industry, commerce and SME’s) of the FEPC (see photo below). A total of 23 participants joined in lively discussions on these subjects. Also, a lot of time was spent on practical exercises.
