Workshop for management Business Associations

VCCI’s Bureau of Employers Affairs (BEA) and VCCI’s Vietnamese Women Entrepreneurs Council (VWEC) facilitated this first training for Managers of Business Associations in Vietnam and members of The Club of Trainers of VCCI. Experiences in Vietnam together with experiences of the trainers of this workshop with the EMBO training of ITC-ILO in Turin and DECP experiences offered the participants the opportunity to develop a strategic plan for their own Business Association. The issues of this workshop: Roles, Functions, Mission and Vision of Business Associations, steps to develop a strategic plan, Roles of a Business Association in Lobby, Advocacy and Social Dialog, Services to be provided to members, Membership development in Business Associations and finally how to generate revenues for Business Associations. Later this year a second similar workshop will take place. This is the start for a number of workshops in which VCCI prepares Business Associations and companies for new steps in Vietnamese economy to better integrate into world economy and new laws to support this integration. VCCI-BEA and VCCI-VWEC and The Club Trainers will play an important role in facilitating these workshops, supported by DECP.
