Workshop

A joint training session between the DECP and ITC-ILO Training Centre in Turin was held in Kampala from May 13-15, 2008.

The training was attended by some 40 delegates from the head office the regional offices as well as from sectoral associations of the Federation of Uganda Employers (FUE). Also some FUE Council members attended.

The training, which covered lobbying, services and membership, was successful, with a considerable amount of interaction throughout.

The workshop ended with a presentation of action plans by the participants.

The evaluation forms showed that the delegates found the training useful. As part of the closing ceremony, Rosemary Ssenabulya, FUE's Executive Director, handed out the certificates to the participants, in the presence of Arnout de Koster, Programme Manager of ITC-ILO.
