From 24 to 26 March 2010, DECP organised a visit of a delegation of CNPM (Confederation of Employers of the Republic of Moldova) to the external OSH service center set-up by the Industrial Association of Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. This center was set-up in 2002 in the framework of the cooperation between the Bulgarian Industrial Association – Union of Bulgarian Business (BIA-UBB) and the ILO/ACT/EMP/Budapest.
The delegation of CNPM was composed by Mr. Cerescu, president of CNPM, Mr. Caminschi, chief internal and external relations department of CNPM, and Mr. Radion Drumea, assistant. They were accompanied by Mr. J.M. Standaert, special advisor DECP.
The delegation of CNPM was welcomed by Mr. Ivan Lenkov, executive director of the Industrial Association of Stara Zagora, and by Mr. Petrov Tanev, in charge of the “Integrated Risk Assessment” programme. The delegation received an in-depth presentation about the history and functioning of the external OSH service, and specially about the “integrated RA” programme.
At the end of the visit, both organisations agreed to continue their cooperation and thanked DECP and BIA-UBB for organising this meeting.
