Vietnamese trainers prove their skills
In March 2013 two training sessions were held in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) by Vietnamese trainers - trained by DECP/AWVN – facilitating the training completely by themselves.
They acquitted themselves well and showed to be quite capable of conducting the training.
The DECP/AWVN trainers present witnessed the progress of the Vietnamese trainers during the two Trainings of Employers (TOE). The Vietnamese trainers showed to be very well capable of conducting the training. The participants did not just acquire the knowledge, they also increased their awareness of negotiating as a skill and its special contribution to the development of constructive labor relations. From time to time even the connection was made to the development of Vietnam and the role constructive labor relations could play in the economic development of the country. Also ‘dispute resolution’ was mentioned as an important issue for economic development. The Vietnamese trainers showed the right knowledge, awareness, skills and attitude during their activities and they also proved to be capable of supporting their less experienced colleagues in developing their insight and skills in the right direction.
