Uganda Finalising the FUE Business Agenda

The DECP undertook a two day mission to the Federation of Uganda Employers (FUE) in Kampala in December 2015. The purpose of the mission by the country manager Andrew Moore was to discuss the progress of the publication of the FUE Business Agenda 2015- 17. Final approval of the text had been received by the FUE Management Board and subject to final editing it was expected to be completed and printed by the end of December 2015.

The DECP also established that a number of staff changes would be taking place at the FUE at the end of 2015. It had been agreed to appoint a new Head of Marketing and Membership and also a new Head of Finance.

It was agreed that once the staff changes had been made the DECP would make a further visit to the FUE in early 2016 to agree on a possible membership project.
