Training the Employers' Federation of Pakistan

For the fourth consecutive year  DECP trained the board of the Employers Federation of Pakistan (EFP). The training took place from 5 till 8 May 2014 with the assistance of ITC/ILO  at their training facility in Turin , Italy.

The most important item for discussion was how to follow-up on last years’ successful publication of the National Business Agenda. A range of options were discussed and participants agreed that a yearly update with relevant facts and figures should be made and presented at an annual high-profile press conference.

Services to members was another important issue with special emphasis on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH). In order to further underline DECP’s commitment in this area EFP , ITC/ILO and DECP signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the continuation the OSH training programme for EFP..
