The GEA Business Agenda

The DECP undertook a two day advisory mission to the Ghana Employers Association (GEA) in Accra from 2- 4 March 2015.

The main objective of the mission was to take forward the work that had already been started on the preparation and publication of the new GEA Business Agenda 2015 -2017. Agreement had been reached on the issues to be included in the agenda and discussions took place on how members would be consulted and the document prepared.

The mission also provided the opportunity to discuss in detail the proposed training strategy and also the communication strategy which was planned for implementation in 2015 supported by the DECP.

The issue of membership recruitment and retention was also discussed in some detail during the mission with the DECP making a number of proposals to the GEA.
