The FUE Membership Pack as a tool for recruitment and retention of members

The DECP mission to the FUE in Uganda in July 2011 was an opportunity to see the newly launched FUE Membership Pack. This publication, which had been supported by the DECP, will provide a major tool in the FUE drive for recruitment and retention of members. It was also agreed that it should be sent to a number of Embassies in Kampala to tell them about the work of the FUE and this could be followed up by a visit from the Chairman and the Executive Director.

The mission also provided an opportunity to discuss in detail how the FUE will   take forward their Business Agenda in areas such as Minimum Wage and also   the possible introduction of a Training Levy.
