Strengthening SMEs in peripheral regions

From 13 to 14 June 2017 DECP and its Mongolian partner EO MONEF organised a seminar on SME policy in Kharkhorin for members of the MONEF regional organisations in Central and West Mongolia. 20 persons from SMEs in these regions attended. At the meeting a seven point action plan was formulated, in which MONEF asks the incoming President of Mongolia to improve government support to the SMEs that are the backbone of the Mongolian economy. Especially in the difficult economic period that Mongolia is passing through this support is vital.
