Strategic development of RUEA

From 21 to 23 February 2012, J.M. Standaert visited the Republican Union of Employers of Armenia (RUEA) in Yerevan and had several meetings and talks with the management and staff of the organisation together with representatives of NordMatall and the Bildungswerk of the Wirtschaft of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Mr. Manzke and Zimmerman.

During those meetings he received an update about the achievements of the new external OSH-service by RUEA. Agreements were also reached on preparing a feasibility study for a new Training Center for the members of RUEA and to start preparations for launching a pilot project on assisting the SME’s in the collection of social contributions.

Finally it was also agreed to organise the third social partnership conference in October 2012: as this time the conference will focus on the social partnership at regional level, the meeting will be prepared by regional Round Tables in the regions of Lori and Syunik.
