Setting the cooperation agenda

A fact finding mission was undertaken to the Employers' Federation of Pakistan (EFP)   by the Country Manager Andrew Moore between 19 – 21 May 2015.

Although the DECP had undertaken a number of workshops with the EFP an in-depth study of the current environment was seen to be useful in agreeing on how the DECP could best support the EFP in the future.

Resulting from the mission it was clear that the EFP was facing a number of challenges in respect of its membership. It was agreed that the DECP would support  both technically and financially a “Membership Survey” which would look in detail at          the current and potential membership.

The mission also provide the opportunity to explore the possibility of holding a workshop for the EFP Board and Secretariat later in the year in Dubai. The workshop would look in detail at the results of the survey and set out a clear plan of action. The workshop would also be an opportunity to start discussions on a revised EFP Business Agenda.
