Seminar on Strategic Planning

On 20 and 21 May 2014  DECP special advisor Rogier CHORUS gave a seminar on strategic planning for 19 representatives of the MONEF staff and representatives of the regional associations. The participants actively discussed ways to improve strategic planning, based on SWOT and other analyses and resulting in realistic objectives and annual work plans.  Special attention was given to the need to review and, if needed, revise the plan regularly, and the involvement of broad membership, in order to turn the plan into systematic action.

After the seminar Rogier Chorus informed the MONEF leadership that the Dutch government had approved the DECP work plan for 2014-2017. This means that the cooperation between MONEF and DECP will be continued, with special emphasis on increased representativeness and better strategic planning.
