Preparing the next FUE Strategic Plan

The DECP country manager for Uganda Andrew Moore undertook a two day mission to the Federation of Uganda Employers (FUE) in Kampala on 22 & 23 August 2012. The main objective of the mission  was to discuss with the Executive Director the long term  plans for the FUE and what technical support they would require from the DECP. The main issue discussed was the preparation of the next FUE Strategic Plan which was due in 2013.

The mission also provided the opportunity for the DECP to meet with the senior management of the FUE to discuss developments both on terms of membership as well as the drive to bring down costs and to increase income from subscriptions and the provision of training courses.
