Moldova Advisory mission to CNPM

From 9 to 13 November, country-manager J.M. Standaert visited CNPM in Chisinau. The aim was firstly to discuss the progress of launching a newsletter for the members of  CNPM and next to interview some sector organisations about their functioning and specially about the collection of membership fees. Indeed as one of the interviewed openly admitted, finances is an important problem for employers’ organisations. Based on those interviews, a report will now be prepared and discussed with the members of CNPM.

During his meeting with the president, Mr. Cerescu, a copy of the recent Doing Business 2015 report was handed over: Mr. Standaert recommended to Mr. Cerescu to incorporate some of the conclusions of the report in the memorandum that CNPM should prepare in view of the coming parliamentary elections.
