Lobby Workshops for the Vietnamese Women Entrepreneurs Council (VWEC) in Hanoi and Haiphong

In cooperation with the Vietnamese Women Entrepreneurs Council (VWEC) of the Vietnamese Chamber of Commerceand Industry (VCCI),  DECP special advisers Thieu Korten and Rogier Chorus held a 2 day lobby workshop both in Hanoi and Haiphong.

The subjects they dealt with were the different phases of the lobby process (preparation, implementation and evalution),  setting up a priority plan,  communication strategy and tools. They organised a number of practice sessions on a range of subjects such as drafting a press release, having a lobbying meeting with a high ranking official, setting up the strategy for a lobby case, etc. All together about 60 representatives of businesses and business organisations participated in the lobby workshops.
