General managers meet to discuss funding strategies

In November 2013 general managers of several regional federations of employers discussed the possibilities to increase revenues, in particular the potential of industrial areas and trade fairs as sources of income.

The workshop which was also attended by Peter Boorsma,  DECP country manager for Bolivia, follows another workshop earlier that year in Cochabamba. Both workshops were organized by  the local federation in cooperation with DECP. After the meeting the people present officially said goodbye to Hedwig Kowsoleea, who established the first contacts between DECP and Bolivian employers en acted as a liaison for more than five years.

The general managers indicated that a third meeting of this kind would be most useful.
