Entrepreneurs in Tarija improve their communication skills

What is the role of communication in a lobbying process? This question was discussed at length during a workshop on communication held at the employers' organization FEPT, the federation of private employers of  the region of Tarija (Bolivia). When do you involve the media? And how do you ensure that your members are involved in the process? Those were the  questions that were discussed extensively by staff members from the office of the FEPT and representatives of the member organizations.  Participants also practiced the drafting of a press-release and of giving an interview. The interactive training which was highly appreciated by the participants, was given in Spanish by Peter Boorsma, special advisor of DECP.
