Employer of the Year Awards 2013

The DECP country manager Andrew Moore attended the Association of Tanzania Employers (ATE) sixth annual Employer of the Year Awards (EYA) in Dar es Salaam on Thursday 5 December. The Guest of Honour for the event was the Vice President of the Republic of Tanzania Dr Mohamed Gharib Bilal. The event was attended by some 300 guests from across the membership of ATE. The twenty two awards given out included for the first time the Young Entrepreneur Award.

The mission also provided the opportunity for the DECP to meet with officials at The Netherlands Embassy to brief them on the work of the DECP with ATE. It also provided the opportunity to meet with the new legal team at ATE to discuss a number of membership issues.
