Developing the ATE workplan for 2012

DECP involvement in the development of the 2012 work plan for ATE was the   main objective of the advisory mission to the Association of Tanzania Employers (ATE) by the country manager Andrew Moore from 16 - 18 January 2012.

It was clear from discussions during the course of the mission that a number of    major targets set for 2011 had not been achieved for a number of reasons and that the need to continue to attend to the needs of the members was a very high priority for 2012.

During the course of the mission DECP was involved in a number of discussions reflecting on 2011 and the lessons learned for 2012. Resulting from these discussions it was agreed that DECP would help in putting together a sustainability plan for ATE once current donor funding finished in June 2013.
