Developing Social Dialogue in the regions

From 21 to 23 June 2016, J.M. Standaert, special advisor DECP, visited BiznesAlbania with the aim to inform them about the termination of the cooperation by the end of 2016 as decided by the Dutch Parliament and to agree with them on last joint activities for 2016. We agreed that BiznesAlbania will submit in the weeks to come a new project based on the new Labour Code with the aim to develop Social Dialogue at the level of the counties. During his visit, Mr. Standaert was informed that the new labour code contains also new regulations for the Temporary Work Agencies in Albania, based on the ILO-conventions and the EU-directives: this was specially suggested by DECP in 2013 during the preparation of the “policy book” of BiznesAlbania with the aim to develop flexibility of the labour market.
