Cooperation DECP with RUEA Armenia

From 5 to 9 July 2010 a delegation of IOE and ILO/ACT/EMP visited the Republican Union of Employers of Armenia. In September 2009 DECP concluded a Partnership Agreement with RUEA.  

During the visit of above delegation, the director of RUEA invited all main project-partners to exchange ideas and information on the further development of mutual projects. 

DECP was represented by its country-manager, J.M. Standaert. He confirmed the readiness of DECP to cooperate with RUEA in setting-up a special service on OSH and for the calculation of social contributions. 

The executive director of  RUEA, Mr. Gagik Makaryan, presented his plan to organise the first National Conference on Social Partnership in Yerevan by the end of September of this year. The aim of this Conference is to stress the importance of social dialogue for the further development of the economy of Armenia.
