CAMFEBA explores members needs

The DECP undertook a two day mission to the Cambodian Federation of Employers and Business Associations (CAMFEBA) on 23 and 24 July 2019 in Phnom Penh.

The mission provided the opportunity for the DECP to discuss in detail with the secretariat the idea of producing a “Policy Agenda” to cover the period of 2020-2022. This agenda will be the result of consultation  with its members and will provide the basis for policy development that is set by employers for employers.

CAMFEBA has faced a number of challenges over the last few years but has been able to maintain its membership. A Membership Survey was undertaken in 2016 and it was agreed that it was the right time to undertake another survey of its members and potential members to see what action needs to be taken to enhance CAMFEBA’s offering to members.

It is proposed that both the Policy Agenda and the Membership Survey will be completed by the end of 2019.
