Building new services for PSF's members
The Private Sector Federation (PSF) in Rwanda has made considerable progress over the last twelve months in streamlining its staffing and building up the services it is offering to its members. The DECP undertook an advisory mission from 24 – 26 January 2013 during which it worked closely in providing technical support for the newly appointed Head of Training. A successful training department within the PSF would provide an income which would help considerably in the long term sustainability of the PSF.
The mission also provided the opportunity for the DECP to discuss with Hannington Namara, the PSF CEO, plans for joint cooperation during the course of 2013. One specific area discussed was the continued development of the regional staff from across Rwanda as well as the Directors of the newly established Chambers building on the successful training undertaken by the DECP in Kigali in June 2012.
