An open discussion on Tourism policy

On 27 October 2011, with the support of DECP, the Business Confederation of Macedonia (BCM) organised a Round Table on the tourism sector of Macedonia, in close cooperation with its member, the Macedonian Chamber of Tourism (MCT). The RT was chaired by Mr. Boshkov, president of BCM. The country-manager of DECP for Macedonia, Mr. J.M. Standaert, made a presentation on the role of a Tourism Association.

 Mr. Miodrag Atanasievski, president of MCT, underlined that it was the first time that such open discussion took place in Macedonia since its independence! After the introductions, there was a very constructive discussion between the professionals of the sector and some students of the tourism faculty of  the university of Stip.
