Advisory mission to VSB Suriname

DECP special advisor Thieu Korten paid his regular visit to the VSB, the Suriname Trade and Industry Association to discuss the completion of the Twinning project, the organisation of VSB's bureau and the financial position of the association, the overall communication policy and possible projects for 2010.

With the support of the Twinning facility of UTSN (founded in 2008 by the Dutch Ministry of Development Cooperation) a communication expert from the Netherlands was stationed in Suriname for one year in order to support the VSB in improving the quality of their website, the electronic newsletter, a Magazine and the annual report.

 DECP had also a meeting with the Dutch Embassy as well as with SME-organisation AKMOS.
