Advisory mission to Moldova

In the framework of the Partnership Agreement signed with CNPM in June 2008, Jean-Marie Standaert, special advisor of DECP, visited the 2 employers' organisations CNPM and FNPAIA end of September 2009 in Chisinau.  
Both organisations expect now important changes from the new government as the main proposals formulated by the employers’ organisations of Moldova are taken over in the programme of the new government. Jean-Marie Standaert recommended the Moldovan partners to use the recommendations of the new “Doing Business 2010”-report that had just been published by the World Bank.  
Both partners agreed to organise in the coming months a special workshop on how to apply for EU-tenders.
