advisory mission to CADIN

Thieu Korten, special advisor of DECP for Nicaragua, visited the Cámara de Industrias de Nicaragua (CADIN) in Managua from 8th until the 13th of July.  

Possible cooperation projects were discussed, like the setting up of a newsletter and a magazine, the development of environmental guidelines on a sector basis and a sector model for setting up a business plan.  

The DECP representative also attended and gave a speech at the official opening of CENAMI, an advisory and support centre for SME’s of which CADIN is the leading partner.  

Visits were paid to the Dutch Embassy to exchange information on private sector development and cooperation with partners, to INDEN, the development and training centre for SME’s and to the umbrella organisation COSEP.
