Advisory mission to Burundi

As the follow-up of the fact-finding visit of a DECP-delegation in July 2009 to the Association of Employers of Burundi (AEB) and to the Association of Business Women of Burundi (AFAB), J.M. Standaert, special advisor of DECP, travelled to Bujumbura from 13 to 17 December 2009.

The purpose of his visit was to meet a delegation of AEB and of AFAB with whom he discussed several concrete issues of cooperation:  how to improve membership, how to expand the existing relations, ways of communication with the members, etc.

He also met Mr. Jan van Renselaar, First Secretary at the Dutch Embassy in Bujumbura.
