A workshop on implementing strategic planning

An informal workshop with APINDO staff members was held on 8 March 2016 in Jakarta. The implementation of strategic planning at staff level was discussed: strategy was the subject of an earlier meeting with staff and Board in January 2015.

APINDO is preparing a better balance between its ‘industrial relations’ (social policy) and ‘investment’ (economic policy) activities, and this will have consequences for the structure of the secretariat.  The DECP know-how on strategy implementation was confronted with ideas considered by APINDO. In this context the support of DECP for empowering the APINDO Analysis Unit is very welcome.
