A new Strategic Plan

On 16 and 17 December 2013 DECP together with ITC/ILO trained board members and other leading officials of the Ethiopian Employers organization (EEF) in the capital of Ethiopia Addis Ababa. The training was organized because a new board of EEF was elected in the summer of 2013 and EEF had expressed the wish to be assisted in their strategic planning. A new planning period for 2014 till 2017 is foreseen. In the two day training the participants with the help of the tutors Arnout de Koster of ITC/ILO and Jan Karel Bout of DECP managed to identify the most important elements for the new strategic plan of EEF and what is needed to reach the desired targets. The participants showed at the end their satisfaction with the results and with the training methods as well as with the tutors. EEF now has the tools to make a new strategic plan.
